We’re all here to take better care of ourselves. In order to pursue true fitness, you need to put just as much emphasis on recovery days as “work” days. In an ideal world, a “perfect week” would look like this:
3x week: Metcon @70-80% capacity
2x week: accessory work
1x week (atleast): 45 minutes of yin style stretching
1x/Month: test your fitness at 100% capacity and test your training
Daily: eat real food & get good sleep
We try our best to make this fool proof by offering 40 CrossFit classes per week, 6 hours of open gym time, and 2 recovery classes. We write all of our own programming for all of our classes with YOU in mind. We’ve even taken it a step further to writing custom programming for you to work on skills, major lifts, and accessory movements.

▪️If you’re in awe of children’s ability to fall into a beautiful squat, you’re not alone. As we get older, our bones and muscles increase in density and size and our connective tissue thickens. These changes along with desk jobs and long car rides ultimately reduce our mobility. The good news is that this reduced range of motion can be reduced with a regular commitment to yin style stretching. Just like CrossFit, our Recovery WOD takes a little time and dedication to see results but we promise it’s worth it!
▪️Our bodies need to endure stress in order to grow stronger. We do this daily in our CrossFit classes with a variety of movements. Our Recovery WOD targets the areas CrossFit can’t reach. Long held poses stress connective tissues, making them stronger and suppler, smoothing out knots, and releasing pressure through the body.

Step 1) Walking/Running
Statistics show that a majority of people looking to start a fitness regimen turn to walking and running as a way to begin living a more active life style. It’s an excellent way to get moving, potentially shed some pounds, and feel more confident, and is easily accessible. It’s exciting to sign up for that first 5k and work your way up to longer races and reach new distances and times you never thought were possible. Eventually, the novelty will wear off and the monotony will set in, and you will ultimately crave more.
Step 2) Gym Membership
Simply put, 24 hour gyms and health clubs are amazing. They have great hours that can fit any schedule, an extensive amount of equipment, access to personal trainers, and even luxuries like saunas, and coffee shops. While all of these amenities are great, its not always easy to know what to do when you walk through the doors. Even if you do have a plan of attack, its hard to hold yourself accountable. It’s nice to find a friend to go with you to help you stay on track and keep training consistent. This typically works for a few months, but you will eventually outgrow this method too, and seek out a group fitness class.
Step 3) Group Training
Everything is better when there are more people involved, especially fitness. Group classes are a great way to ensure you’re moving for a solid 30-60 minutes and getting a good sweat going. It’s nice to have a familiar group of friends and faces to keep you accountable and working hard. You will start to notice clothes are fitting differently, energy levels are rising, and you’re body is changing shape. But, there will inevitably come a point when you outgrow the instructor and want to truly test your fitness.
Step 4) CrossFit
Educated trainers, awesome people, daily programming, competition, accountability, results, nutrition guidance, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing, and biking all got married, and CrossFit was born.
Once you step foot into your first CrossFit class, no other routine or regimen will suffice. You might have to give up the sauna and coffee shop at your healthclub, but I promise it’s worth it.
